There are so many reasons to say no to Forever California: Changing our small community from 400,000 to 800,000 when wee already have Seeno building 3 times to housing, no new schools. No grocery. We already have barely anything on the shelves at our old worn out Safeway we have now. I can’t even get my 2 Grandon’s in our local school where we live and no one is checking addresses! Our streets are already crowded before and after school, then we have truckers avoiding the scales and no police presence. Fairfield police doesn’t care about our area. The side shows at Scandia, the hotels dumping their old couches and used mattresses on our back roads, truckers dumping their garbage by the Birria Food Truck on our back roads. The fact that these billionaires can buy up land next to our Military Base should never be allowed by anyone and being billionaires makes me suspicious! They don’t care about anyone but themselves and maybe spying on Travis A.F. Base to make more money! All the road work is specifically for Napa and in the end will only make it worse for the locals to pick up and drop off our kids and make it even further to get to school, that’s never local. There is nothing but garbage fast good, that we don’t need any more of, but their C.F. community is only going to service the wealthy not anyone like me or my family. I love my community here and they really helped us during the Cordelia Fire, when we lost our 100 year old house we rented. We lost everything in our home on Cordelia Road to the left of Thompsons Corner. We care about our small community here and want to keep it safe for our families and elderly that are long time residents. My Grand Father is Francis P. Smith. His tracker parts business started here and is run by his Son and 2 Daughters. I was born in Suisun, and now I’m back after living in The City for 32 years. I know what over crowding looks like and you are all going to hate it with all of these “plans” they have waiting for us. Traffic will be a living hell and nightmare! There is no rent control or low income housing as it is, accept One Place which on a windy day, smells like the Dumps near by. That’s where they put poor people. Sure it looks nice and has amenities but that is a big game changer! Our back roads are getting way over crowded because of freeway traffic and truckers with no pot hole patches on the holes they already slap together. They open up every rain! No one is maintaning all the over growth which is a huge for risk and is why my home burned to the ground after 4 hours. Cigarettes that were thrown on the ground by a local business that used to park next to the freeway, by AM PM and Fairfield fire made it worse by not helping out showing up until it was too late for our house. It’s scary to know we live on 2 Fault lines, and the entire area has live gaslines!! Who’s the genius that thought that was a good idea!!! They want to grow almond trees!!! Really??!! They use too much water and those rich growers stealing water down south, caused a water crisis. That should never be allowed here because of all the nature here. I love that we have coyotes, Jack rabbits cows, horses, lizards, snakes, fish, wild turkeys, we love that for our families and with what F.C. wants to do, all that will be gone and our community too. Please SAY NO TO FOREVER CALIFORNIA!!!
