I grew up in Solano County and only took a short vacation from it during my time in the Air Force. This is my home and I am 100% for sustainable growth at affordable prices for our community. But that’s NOT what the East Solano Plan is! It becomes more and more apparent, every passing day, that these are Billionaires who are not looking to bring sustainable growth to Solano, but are looking to line their pockets. They are hoping they can trick voters into rezoning Agricultural Lands so that they can turn it into “whatever” will make them and their stockholder/ business partners money. Million dollar homes are far from affordable for Solano residents! Stop marketing your plan to Bay Area residents, and build the affordable homes SOLANO needs, WITHIN CITY LIMITS or else GTFO. The whole thing wreaks of privilege. If you want to build a city then go about it the right way. Better yet invest that money into fixing the cities we have! “ When the Last Tree Is Cut Down, the Last Fish Eaten, and the Last Stream Poisoned, You Will Realize That You Cannot Eat Money”. Back-dooring a city will not turn out well for anyone, to include the wildlife, except maybe the con artists looking to benefit from it. We NEED open spaces for wild life to survive and to protect the habitat and native ecosystem. They have already set their precedent from their sneaky actions and from suing farmers. The single best indicator of how a person will act in the future, is how they have acted in the past. Listen to their past behavior and don’t believe their lies. NO to California Forever/East Solano Plan!
