1. Where are we going to get enough water to sustain this community especially with climate change snd drought,
2. One million dollar homes are not affordable for the middle class currently living in Solano County. I feel so sorry for the nee generation coming up that cannot afford homes. This seen a to be more gentrification in which those currently living in Solano County will be driven out.
3. More pollution generated by commuters as i di not see long term sustainable jobs in Solano County.
4. The lies and the withholding of information from the CA Forever group are disgusting. The lawsuits they have filed against farmers to obtain property are unforgivable. They remind of the lies told to the planned communities in Irvine, Ca about sustainable growth when they continue to build/cram new homes into this small area. A veterans graveyard in the great park was voted on by the community voted on to honor veterans and now builders are vying ti build homes on this property dissing our veterans who gave their lives for this country.
5. Solano County is cheap land allowing this group of billionaires to make a huge profit hurting those who have lived here .
6. Wildlife is harmed. I have hiked these hills and there is an abundance of wildlife including coyotes, deer, wild turkeys, bobcats. ducks, inland water ways to kayak, etc. These animals are being driven out of there natural habitat by all the building and cannot survive. Cramming in all these people will give us less green areas to get away snd be in nature to destress and renew our ties to the earth.
7. They are too close to Travis airforce base. We need security parameters. This world is getting more volatile and we need to make sure our bases are protected.
8. Our farmland are to produce food. We are running out of farmers that are close by for fresh produce. It is nice to be able to go to some of our fruit stands that are close by. We do not want to drive miles for fresh food.
I can go on and on why i think CA forever is not a good idea. I personally think this is a bunch of Silicon Valley types eho have bought up cheap land wanting to make more millions on the backs if less privileged people without respect for the environmental mpact this will make on Solano County. I am very pissed off about this as you can probably tell from my response.
