I am opposed to California Forever for the following reasons:
1.Lack of transparency: Flannery Associates, began in 2017 buying tens of thousands of acres in the Montezuma Hills without revealing their identity or intentions until just last year.
2. I am opposed to amending the general plan, which was approved by voters in 1984. The general plan addresses farm land, open space as well as orderly growth.
3. Need for housing in the region, but this is not the location or way to do it.
4. Housing would interfere with Travis AFB, which plays key national security role.
5. We need agricultural land.
