I have resided in Solano County for over 50 years, coming from Redwood City to Vacaville in 1973. I had a great job in Redwood City working for the San Mateo County Tax Collector; however, I did not enjoy living in a large city with all the other large cities on the peninsula connected to each other. Vacaville was a small town of 26K people at the time. The open space and rolling hills was so much nicer on the eyes and the soul. Please do not let CF turn us into another peninsula cluster. Their promises will not be kept and the taxpayers will be paying for the infrastructures needed to accommodate a large city. If these “pie in the sky” people are allowed to change our beautiful land into cement city, who knows what else they will want. People say they will get what they want because of who they are and the money behind them, but let’s prove them wrong and send Jan and his cronies somewhere else to start their new city.
