Realtor | 15 Years in Solano
I am a realtor in Solano County. I bought my first home in Dixon in 2009 because I wanted MORE space and MORE house than I could afford in surrounding counties. I have resided in Fairfield since 2012. This remains the draw for most buyers coming to the area; they can get so much more for their money. The open spaces are a draw. Most people do not dream of being in multi-level attached homes without yards or garages. We can easily go visit San Francisco if we want to visit that vibe. These east Solano homes will not be “affordable” in the way that most Solano residents are being led to believe. Affordable was defined by Mr. Sramek as “affordable” for people currently residing in Redwood City or San Jose where starter homes are in the multi millions. To turn a profit, the majority of these “homes” will be rentals. The California Forever talking points keep shifting. Very suspect. If Solano residents wanted to live in a densely populated area in attached, multi-level homes, they would just stay in their current apartments./rentals. Nothing adds up. There are so many other issues and questions that go ignored. There is so very much that they are NOT saying. This is definitely not the future for Solano County that I dream of for my 3 children.
