I oppose amending the Solano County general plan that would rezone 17,500 acres for the Ca Forever project. CA Forever/Flannery Assoc wants to bring 400,000 people into the county by building a unincorporated community that will impact our already congested roads, deplete our already depleted water supply, and tax our already over taxed citizens. CA Forever’s plan has no specifics on how their plan will be put into place and has unbinding promises proposed to the good citizens of Solano County that will only line pockets of the investors. Ca Forever CEO Jan Sramek has repeatedly insulted our cities and the citizens of this county by stating that he will plan a city that has better schools, homes, jobs, and basically people than what our existing cities have. CaForever has not conducted themselves in good faith nor have they been honest. They purchased land secretively so as not to have competition from other developers and they had farmers sign NDAs, while bullying their way into family land trusts and forcing farmers off of generational land by throwing money at them. CA Forever has also thrown money at organizations and businesses using corrupt political mobster like tactics to win votes. I am voting No in November on amending our well thought out general plan. Solano doesn’t need another city that will cost tax payers money to sustain its viability. We need to focus on planned growth that brings in revenue for existing cities and schools, and that also helps with county revenue. Vote No and send a clear message to Ca Forever and Jan Sramek that we the citizens of Solano County didn’t ask for their city and don’t welcome it here.
