First, let’s do the math: There’s already roughly 450,000 people living in ALL of Solano County. If they are supposed to fit 400,000 more people into that small of a space, and still leaving a lot as open space (as told by Flannery), leaving room for schools, parks, government offices, stores, parking lots, and streets, theres not a whole lot of room leftover for these “affordable” homes (because they never called them houses as far as I know), so the only way its possible is to build high rise apartment complexes, or ‘projects’. Jan has said “affordable” is around $1,500,000. Cheap, he stated, compared to San Jose. So that to me is just saying he plans on moving the Bay Area to Solano County, so THEY can have affordable housing, not us. $1.5 million apartments is ridiculous. We don’t want to turn Solano County into Santa Clara County. Jan’s deceptive ways of going about getting what he wants are unacceptable, thats not the way we roll, maybe in San Jose they do or where he’s from in the Czech Republic, but lying is not the way to get on people’s good side. Hes trying to buy peoples votes and nothing is beneath him in what he will do to get his way. Highway 12 is already a deathly road, we don’t need more people on it. He can take his conniving ways and go home, or to another state to build his little Stepford Town, some where where they’ll welcome him, but that is not here. Hes too close to Travis AFB, we are getting our water cut way back as it is, without providing for twice the people, and so far, all hes done is change his wording and their name to try and fool people, he just says what he thinks we want to hear,but doesn’t mean any of it. He’s hiding his real motivation and reasons for wanting this so bad and it really leaves a bad taste in my mouth. His ulterior motives cannot be good, if he’s hiding them. My biggest question is if this is going to be such a great city, why are none of them going to live there? It might make more sense if they were fed up with not being in charge or whatever and were building this city so they could live there and run it how they want to but they’re NOT, they have no plans to live there. Why is that?
