Everyone keeps getting lost with all of the keys jangling trying to distract us but this is about our General Plan. Calling us names, saying the farm ground is not good. The bribes. Forget it. Our General Plan calls for the building of housing near our existing cities and it has since 1985. It has been reaffirmed over the years since then. I am not opposed to this proposal. I am opposed to its location. Permanently destroying farmlands for a SPRAWLING subdivision is exactly what our General Plan is in place to stop. This project should be split up and taken to the cities and worked out. The same types of cheap housing can be offered and the same multi million dollar homes also. But let’s do it in the right place. Solano County should never become another Oakland. In size. We never get farmland back once it’s gone it’s gone forever. Please stop this obvious sprawl. Please don’t let another city the size of Oakland grow in Solano County. Please don’t be what caused Travis to leave Solano County.
