Public Servant | 41 Years in Solano
My family and I immigrated to America and made Fairfield our home. I have lived in almost every town in Solano county including Travis AFB and Rio Vista. Having lived and worked in the delta I became intimately familiar with its infrastructure and the vital role the delta plays in local farming for produce, feed and cattle. The city of Rio Vista already struggles to provide services with the addition of Trilogy, I fail to see how the proposed community would be able to provide services to the estimated 400K residents without directly impacting the surrounding communities and the existing water sources, primarily Lake Berryessa. Another huge concern would be the increase of traffic on an already congested roadway – Highway 12 and Highway 113. Neither of these roadways were designed to be major roadways and both are already in need of major improvements. Then there is Travis AFB, the largest operating Military Base on the West Coast for exporting supplies. I do not see how the construction of the proposed community isn’t considered a direct threat to national security as it’s funded by private investors from unknown sources. I hope the residents of Solano County stand with me and vote NO!!!
